In order to generate funds the warehouse sells some of the items to the general public.  These funds help pay for the gas, rental space and utility bills.  Without these funds the program would not be able to operate.

The charges for the items vary from one to another.   We do our best to have them marked much lower than flea market rates.

The Community Resource Warehouse provides furniture and household assistance to hundreds of needy families a year.  Last year oven $40,000 worth of furniture was provided to families free of charge.  While some items are sold in order for the bills to get paid, the main goal of the warehouse is:
  1. Refugee Resettlement Program: The Refugee Resettlement Program helps recent refugee arrivals with getting all their paperwork processer while requiring assistance with all aspects of starting a new life in the United States. Part of our mission is to help the new arrivals by proving all their furniture needs prior to coming to our geographic area and starting their acclimation.
  2. Emergencies: Various Camden County based organizations use their referral system to send families in emergency situations. Some agencies are; the Red Cross, Division of Youth and family Services, the Camden County Women's Center, Center for Family Services, and others. If available, families choose the items needed with minor paperwork involved.
  3. Domestic Violence Relocation: Families that have been in a shelter due to domestic violence and have found a new residence are able to obtain furniture. The warehouse will help the family choose furniture and help them load it into their vehicles or sometimes assist them in the delivery process.
