- All Day
Pope Francis is calling on Christians around the world to serve the poor with concrete actions that address their daily needs, writing in a document launching a new World Day of the Poor (November 19, 2017) that service to them is “an imperative that no Christian may disregard.” He calls to “let us love – not with words, but with deeds.”
Catholic Charities, Diocese of Camden invites all parishioners and the greater community to join Pope Francis’ call to service during the week preceding the World Day of the Poor. During this week, all Catholic Charities offices will host “Open Houses” – where every office will open its doors to parishioners and welcome them to meet with the agency’s staff and the clients that they serve.
Additionally, Catholic Charities will be conducting a donation drive the same week to collect emergency items for evacuees from Puerto Rico. All are welcomed to drop donations off at the site nearest them, and come into Catholic Charities offices as well as part of the Open Houses.
Below is a list of most-needed items:
– Pots & Pans
– School supplies
**If you are unable to drop off donations during this time, call 856-342-8846 to schedule a time**
We thank you for your generosity!
