Catholic Charities Donation Drive for Homeless Veterans

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Camden invites you to partake in a donation drive for homeless veterans in South Jersey.  It’s often easy to forget about the incomparable sacrifices that these men and women have made for our country, as well as the many challenges that they face upon returning home.

Until May 14, 2017, Catholic Charities will be collecting the following items for homeless veterans (all sizes & only new items):

–  Underwear
–  Socks
–  Sweatpants/Sweat shorts
–  T-shirts

These collected donations will then be distributed at Stand Down 2017 – an event at All Wars Memorial Museum in Atlantic City on May 17 that will serve homeless veterans.  Among many other services, Catholic Charities will be there to provide our veterans with these donations, along with a wide variety of free services such as VA benefits, medical, mental health, and addiction counseling, welfare benefits, legal services, housing, haircuts, and clothing provisions – all with the goal of helping these veterans attain self-sufficiency.

We hope that you will consider joining this donation drive.
